I think it is inaccurate, inflammatory and unhelpful in addressing actual problems with policing in minority communities.

I have no idea what term would be better than “no-go zones” to describe areas where people are afraid to go because they fear being harassed by police for their race or ethnicity. But whatever that term is, it shouldn’t be used as an excuse for making sweeping generalizations about entire neighborhoods or cities based on isolated incidents involving police officers who were acting inappropriately (or worse)
