Kubernetes is an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
Discription
It was originally developed by Google and donated to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) in 2014. Kubernetes has become a de facto standard for managing containers at scale, with support from all major cloud providers including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
In this chapter you will learn how to deploy microservices on Kubernetes using Linkerd as a service mesh to provide TLS termination between services. Youll also see how network policies can be used to lock down access between services running in different namespaces
