The C++ REST SDK (CREST) provides a modern, asynchronous, and type-safe API for accessing EVE Online’s game data via XML Web Services. The CREST project was originally developed by CCP developers in their spare time as part of an internal hackathon competition. After winning first place at that event, it was decided that this code should be made available publicly so that other developers could benefit from it too! Since then we have been working on improving the library and adding new features based on community feedback. We are now ready to release v1 of CREST which includes all core functionality required for writing applications using our APIs
