I’m not going to say that I didn’t have my suspicions about the game, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this bad. The story is a complete mess of plot holes and contradictions, with characters who are either completely unlikable or completely forgettable. It also has some of the most boring gameplay in recent memory, which is surprising considering how much hype there was for it leading up to release. But what really makes me angry about Mass Effect: Andromeda isn’t just that it failed at being a good video game; it failed at being an interesting piece of science fiction as well
