I’ve been working at my current company for almost three years now, but the last year has been particularly rough. My manager is great, but she’s also very busy with other things (and not in an engineering capacity). As a result, I haven’t gotten much feedback on my work or career growth opportunities. The lack of communication coupled with the fact that I don’t feel like I have any upward mobility here has made me start looking elsewhere for employment.
