I’ve been working on Android since before it was officially called “Android”. My first project was an early version of the SDK emulator (which still runs fine today). Since then, I’ve worked on many different parts of the platform: UI toolkit internals, media frameworks, graphics libraries, security features like verified boot and file-based encryption. Most recently I’ve been working with my team to make sure that apps run smoothly across all kinds of devices—from phones to tablets to TVs—and that they’re fast enough for users’ needs
