I’m a software engineer at Google.
Discription

I work on the Android team, specifically in the area of performance and memory management.

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science (CS) in 2002, and then worked for several years as an embedded systems consultant before returning to school to get my Masters degree from Stanford University’s CS department. My thesis was titled “A Scalable Architecture for Distributed Garbage Collection.” After graduating from Stanford, I joined Google as a Software Engineer intern on the Android team. In 2011 I became an official Googler!

At Google, I’ve been working primarily on performance issues related to garbage collection and memory management
