I’m not sure what I expected, but it wasn’t this. The book is a collection of short stories that are all about the same thing: people who have been affected by some sort of paranormal experience and how they deal with it. It’s very character-driven, which isn’t my favorite style of writing (and I think you can tell from the fact that most of my reviews are plot-focused), but these characters were so well written and their voices were so distinct that I couldn’t help but be drawn in
