The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing, and to provide education on the uses of Cloud Computing to help secure all other forms of computing.
Discription

The CSA was founded in February 2011 by Amazon Web Services, Cisco, Google, IBM, Microsoft and Salesforce.com.
A number of additional companies have joined since then including F5 Networks , HP , Intel  and VMware .
The CSA has also established working groups focused on specific areas such as Identity Management & Access Control (IAM), Virtualization Security and Compliance/Audit/Monitoring
