I was determined to get better at my job, so I took a class on how to be an effective manager. It was very helpful and I learned a lot about myself as well as other people in the class. One thing that really stuck with me is that you can’t change everyone; some people are just not going to change no matter what you do or say. The best thing you can do for them is help them find another job where they will fit better or let them go if it isn’t working out for either party anymore
