I’ve been programming for about 15 years now. My first language was C++ and my first real project was an IRC bot written in Visual Basic 6 that ran on Windows 95/98 machines. It’s still running today! I started out as a hobbyist but eventually got into the industry through internships at Microsoft, Google, and Amazon (where I worked on their internal tools). After graduating from college with a degree in Computer Science & Mathematics, I joined Facebook where I currently work as an engineer on the Ads team
