I’ve been writing code since I was 11 years old, when my dad bought me a Commodore 64 (the one with the rainbow stripes). I started out by typing in programs from magazines like Compute! and Byte magazine. Then, after about six months of programming on paper tape using BASIC syntax diagrams printed in those same magazines, my dad got me a book called “The Complete Beginner’s Guide to Assembly Language Programming for the Commodore 64? by David Lien
