I’ve been programming since middle school (and before then too). My first language was BASIC on an Apple IIe, but it didn’t take long for me to move onto Pascal and C++. In high school, my friends and I started building websites using HTML tables with inline CSS stylesheets — we were basically writing our own version of Bootstrap without knowing it
