I’m a software engineer at Google, and I’ve been working on the Chrome team for about four years.
Discription

Before that, I worked on the V8 JavaScript engine (which is used in both Chrome and Node.js) as well as other projects like libc++ and LLVM.

I was born in Taiwan but grew up mostly in California; my family moved to Mountain View when I was nine years old. My parents were both engineers: my dad had a PhD from Stanford and worked at IBM Research, while my mom got her master’s degree from UC Berkeley before she started teaching computer science classes at San Jose State University. They encouraged me to pursue whatever interested me—as long as it wasn’t math or accounting
