I’m not sure if it’s the writing, or the plot, or just my own personal taste. But there are some things that really bothered me about this book.

The first thing is that I didn’t like any of the characters in this book (except for maybe one). They all seemed to be very shallow and two-dimensional. The main character was whiny and annoying; she had no personality at all except for being an overachiever who always got what she wanted by manipulating people around her into doing what she wanted them to do (which is why they were so flat)
