I’m a software engineer at Google.

I work on the Android team, and my focus is on improving developer productivity.

I graduated from MIT in 2006 with a BS in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). My thesis was about using machine learning to improve the quality of speech recognition systems. After graduation, I worked for several years as an R&D Engineer at Nuance Communications, where we were building next-generation speech products for mobile devices. In 2011, I joined Google as an intern while finishing my PhD; after graduating from MIT in 2012, I stayed on full time as a Software Engineer working on Android apps and services like Gmail and Drive
