The first thing you notice is that it looks like an app designed for iOS 7, rather than an OS X app. The old version was very clearly OS X-y and had some nice touches like using the system font and having rounded corners on its buttons. This one doesn’t have any of those things; instead, it uses Helvetica Neue as its primary font (which I don’t really mind), but with a lot more straight lines and sharp edges than before (which I do mind)
