I’m not saying you should do this, but I did it and it worked out well for me. I got two jobs in the industry by doing unpaid internships: one at EA Tiburon (Tiger Woods PGA Tour) and another at Midway Games (NBA Ballers). Both of these companies were small enough that they didn’t have an internship program, so they just hired me as a regular employee instead. This was great because I got paid while learning how to make games professionally
