I’ve worked on everything from the browser to mobile apps, but my main focus is now machine learning and artificial intelligence.
I’m currently working at Google on TensorFlow, an open source library for numerical computation using data flow graphs. Before that I was working on Android at Google, where I helped launch the first version of Chrome for Android in 2011 and led the team building Google’s flagship mobile app: Gmail for Android. Prior to joining Google in 2007, I co-founded two startups (one acquired by Apple) while studying computer science at Stanford University; one of which became the basis of my PhD research into programming languages and type systems with applications to security analysis
