I’ve been using Google Maps since its inception in 2005. It started as a simple mapping tool that let you see where you were on a map, but over time it has evolved into an indispensable tool for getting around town. The app now includes walking directions (which are great when I need to get somewhere without my car), public transit schedules and routes, traffic information, street view photos of most major cities in the world (including many places outside the US), satellite imagery of every place on earth with enough detail to identify individual buildings or trees, and much more
