This Week in Spring – August 15th, 2023

[SpringOne](), the first in-person SpringOne since the pandemic! – is _next week_!! I’m so excited I could spit. And I did spit. And then, I asked ChatGPT for some help writing a poem, and it did not disappoint!

T’was a week before SpringOne, in Las Vegas so grand, Where devs from all corners would soon take a stand. The stages were set by the Strip with such care, In hopes that Spring’s legacy soon would be there.

For twenty years past, since Spring first had begun, In Java it started, its triumphs were won. With Boot at its heart and Kubernetes by side, It scaled the vast clouds, on containers it’d ride.

And Kotlin, that gem, with concise code to please, Danced with the old Java, in perfect harmonies. From microservices, to the web, and streams that don’t halt, Spring’s ecosystem evolved, without ever a fault.

So here’s to the devs, and the tech that’s to come, At SpringOne 2023, where tech hearts beat as one. For this is the place, where innovation won’t cease, And the Spring community gathers, in passion and peace.

And with that, let’s dive right into this week’s relatively calm roundup. Enjoy, and I’ll see you next week in Las Vegas!
