I’m a security researcher, and I have been researching the world of cybercrime for almost 40 years.
Discription

I started my career in 1979 as an IT consultant at IBM UK. In 1982, I joined the newly formed Computer Crime Unit at Scotland Yard (London Metropolitan Police). From there, I moved to Interpol where I was instrumental in creating their first international computer crime unit. After that, it was on to Europol where I helped create their European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) which is now one of the largest cybercrime units in Europe with over 200 staff members from 30 different countries worldwide
