I’ve been writing code for fun since I was 12, and professionally since I was 18. My first job out of college was at Microsoft, where I worked on the Windows operating system in the kernel team. Since then, I’ve worked at several startups as well as established companies such as Google and Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2016, after three years working on AWS’s core infrastructure services such as EC2 and EBS, I decided it was time for a change of scenery so joined Facebook’s Core Infrastructure Team in London
