The first time I used the Google Pixel 2 XL was at an event in New York City on October 4th. It was a quick hands-on with a pre-production unit, and while I liked what I saw, my impressions were limited by that fact. The second time was last week when we received review units from Google for all four colors: Clearly White, Just Black, Kinda Blue and Black & White (aka Panda)
