The Problem: You Need To Work In Multiple Languages, But Your IDE Is Only One Of Them

I’ve been working on a project that involves writing some C++ code for a library and then using that library from Java. The two languages are very different, so I needed something that would let me write my C++ code in Eclipse and then compile/run/debug it from within Eclipse as well. There were several options available (SWIG comes to mind), but they all seemed like overkill for what I was trying to accomplish
