I’ve been working as an engineer since 2011, and have worked in both startups and big companies. I got my start by building web applications using Ruby on Rails (and later Sinatra), but now mostly write code in Python. My favorite part of programming is designing systems that are easy to understand and change over time; this often involves writing tests or documentation, which can be just as important as the actual implementation
