It has no story, and the characters are flat as cardboard cutouts. The only reason to read this book is for its ideas, which are interesting but poorly expressed.

I’m going to start with what I liked about the book:

1) The idea of using “the cloud” (i.e., Google Docs) as an example of how people can work together in new ways without needing any kind of central authority or hierarchy is very clever and well-executed here; it was one of my favorite parts of the book overall (though see below)
