I have been using Google Analytics since before there was an official API (yes, that long). Since then, I have used every version of GA as well as other analytics tools like Piwik and Woopra. So when they announced the new version at last year’s Google IO conference, I was excited but also skeptical: could this really replace all my favorite features from the old version? Would it still work with my custom tracking code? Would it even work on mobile devices? And what about all those cool third-party plugins we use in our company?
